Looking For Christmas Activities?

With the weekends being cooler, the lights going up all around, and the kids being out of school, the Christmas festivities have begun. I'm sure you are trying to find some fun things to do around this time of year, and are anxious to see what all Knoxville has to offer this year! Well here are a few things that you may be interested in!

One of the attractions that always seems to be a hit around this time of year is Shadrack's Christmas Wonderland that is held in the Tennessee Smoky's baseball stadium. There are lights set up, a petting zoo, photos with Santa, food vendors and more! This is a great family attraction that has something for everyone to enjoy with plenty of hot chocolate to keep you warm while you do it.

Now for those of you who like to be out and cycle, downtown Knoxville is hosting the Tour de Lights! Many cyclists get together, decorate their bikes as well as wear costumes and ride around a designated path through the city of Knoxville near the downtown area. There is more detailed information above in the link provided. The event will also hold prizes for best costume, best cycle/trailer, best helmet, best group theme, and best all around. Don't miss out on this fun, festive opportunity to show off your Christmas spirit and have fun doing so!

And for those who may like to do something a little more different than the usual, there is Christmas in the Cave at the Cherokee Caverns! There are food and vendors on site, pictures with Santa, and if you bring a non-perishable food item they can donate, you get $2 off admission! It is also wheelchair and stroller accessible, so it can accommodate pretty much anyone! Check out the link for the dates and more details!
