A Look at the Powell Area

Have you been looking for a place to move? Do you know someone who has? Well, one of the first things that people look at when moving is the desired location. This post will hopefully be helpful if you are looking to move to the Powell, TN area or if you are trying to decide on a specific location in Knoxville.

As far as schools go, Powell is home to Powell Elementary, Middle, and High School, Copper Ridge Elementary School, Claxton Elementary School, as well as Temple Baptist Academy, First Baptist Academy. More specific information about these schools as well as a list of the daycares in the area can be found at this link.

Being a suburb of Knoxville has its perks. Access to Powell is directly off of I-75. There are many new developments starting up in the area, especially on Emory Rd., around exit 112 on I-75. It is only 15 minutes from Downtown Knoxville, which gives you enough mileage to be outside of the traffic while still being able to access the amenities the Downtown area has to offer.
