Fun Foods for NEXT WEEK!

Are you looking for something cool to do for your next Thanksgiving celebration? There are a few things that I have seen/eaten, that break from what most people consider the norm for Thanksgiving or add a spin to a classic dish that is more than likely already on your menu.
One thing I saw was a spin on some yeast rolls. Most people like a good roll with their food. You have to love carbs, especially on Thanksgiving because they do not count if it's a holiday right? Well these are really cool. I am providing a link to the page where I found the recipe for it here! They're sweet, fun, and very festive! Go check it out and try it!
For the next item, I am suggesting a way to mix up the typical flavor of this main dish, the turkey. There is always a big fuss about who is doing the turkey, how it is getting done, and who will take the rest of it if not everyone likes it. Well a lot of the time, a turkey turns out to be pretty bland, given that it is a bird, but on GeniusKitchen, I found a lot of ways to spice it up and change from the norm! There are 18 different recipes, and surely one will work for your family!

Lastly, I'm suggesting have an item that isn't generally a Thanksgiving food. Come up with something that you know your family loves. There are plenty of different recipes that you can choose from off the top of your head, but think of something that will be a good hit with those of whom you are celebrating. For example, something that isn't typically on a Thanksgiving menu would be chili. There are many different kinds of chili that will still go along very well with the season. It is warm, inviting, and with the weather looking like it will be cold and wet, just what people will want. You don't have to have it as the main dish, but it could make a great complement to the turkey!
