What Fall Decor is Trending This Year?

There are always new and exciting ways to spruce up the outside of your home each season. Each time a new season comes, there always seems to be something new and exciting that you can do in order to make your home feel like it is truly celebrating the season! Even with all of these new and exciting decor options, a lot of people like to stick with what they have and change it up little by little in order to get their desired look. Let's be completely honest here, it's your house; you get to decide what it looks like. Everything that trends or the fads that come through from season to season may or may not apply to you. What is important is that you like what you are putting in your house. That being said, there are a few things that I think you can expect to see in most people's decor for their house.

1) There always seems to be an abundance of Fall flowers. Many people that like to put out these flowers in a given area go to the same shop to pick them up. These are beautiful arrangements that really help you ring in the season of Fall. The colors reflect the atmosphere that is brought on, and hey, they look pretty on and around the front of your house. These arrangements are something that I think are here to stay, and you should expect to see these even more now that the Halloween season has past.

2) Another thing you can expect to see around this time of year is a mix-match of different style ideas. Being that half of the population seems to have already moved on to Christmas, bypassing Thanksgiving entirely, and the other half seems to still be hung up on Halloween, you can expect for there to be many different styles in this year's Fall decor according to an article on HGTV.com.

3) Finally, a third that you should expect to see trending in Fall decor this year are the re-utilization of pumpkins. I'm sure you've seen them in the stores this year more than ever, the decorative pumpkins that are to be used as candle holders or vases according to another article on countryliving.com. Being a Fall/Winter food, pumpkins lend themselves to an extended time to be used. Halloween has primarily taken over the idea of pumpkin decorating with jackal lanterns, but the truth is, they have much more versatility than that.

This is not by any means a comprehensive list of what all is trending at this time. This is just a snapshot of a few things that you may see more often than not. Please comment any suggestions you have and your thoughts on the content! There will be a weekly post on this blog, so be sure to subscribe to it and reccomend it to your friends!
